- The British Medical Journal has started an excellent series on finding and assessing medical articles, which includes understanding statistics:

- The Canadian Medical Association has a series on basic statistics for clinicians:
- Stats resources: teaching materials from the Division of Biostatistics and Epidemiology, University of Virginia
- Hyperstat Online , an online textbook by David Lane of Rice University also has many useful links.
- Introductory Statistics by David Stockburger of Southwest Missouri State University.
- Journal of Statistics Education has full text articles. A great for teachers.

- Research methods ("The Knowledge Base") by William Trochim of Cornell University has three main parts : Introduction to Research; Sampling, Measurement &
Design; and Data Analysis. Scroll down to "Data Analysis" for the stats goodies. Although targetted to research in the social sciences, this online textbook has great explanations of concepts such as power.
