Topic: Moose West Pass- Oct 2003
There are two emerald lake in Rockies Mountain. One is Lake Louise in Banff National Park, Alberta, which was once called Emerald Lake. Another one is the Emerald Lake in Yoho National Park, BC.
Uncle Paul prefers Lake Louise, which is much closer to his home (Calgary). He always bring visitors up here. Lake Louise has different view under sunnny and rainy weathers. All are beautiful, he said. Plus, he has the honey moon vacation with Auntie Jeanie then. Our tourist guide once said different vieww cost differently. The most beautiful one cost 10 million dollars.
However, out of our four visits to Lake Louise, we were not that lucky to have the expensive view. The smoke from the fire, and the cloud blocked our view in summer and fall respectively.
On the other hand, we are really amazed by the reflections of snowly peak, clouds, blue sky, and the lodge on Emerald Peak. We killed rolls of our films! We were glad that we did that. Gus, on another bus, arrived merald Lake one week before we did, did not catch that. The cloudy and windy weather made the lake looked dull.
